Hand Splinting Workshop with Orfit Products

It is an online seminar that explains the characteristics of Orfit products, provides hands-on fabrication techniques and offers advice on fabricating the splints according to your choice.

"I want to incorporate splinting into my clinical practice, but I don't have the opportunity to do so and I don't know what knowledge and skills I need to do so...", "I would like to attend a splinting seminar, but it is difficult due to the location and time..." This is a seminar on AAC devices with a focus on AbleNet products. Six programs are available, including the concept of assistive communication devices, explanation and hands-on experience of how to use the devices, systems involved in purchasing the devices, case studies, and tips on how to utilize the devices.

Blue 2 Online Seminar

The GIGA School Initiative has distributed a terminal to each student, but the terminal must be able to be operated by touch with a finger or stylus. Some of the children with limited mobility due to disabilities may have difficulty operating the terminal. There is a way to use the accessibility feature to operate the terminal with simple switch operations. To use this feature, a switch interface such as Blue 2 is required. In this seminar, we will provide online support for those who are considering using Blue 2 as well as those who are currently using it.

Even if you do not have a Blue 2, we will send you a rental unit and our staff will show you how to use it, from setting it up to using it while you check it online.

Lasal Positioning Seminar　- Positioning on Beds for Comfort Rest and Body Support -

This is a product study session designed to provide you with an efficient way to learn about Domino Cushions in a short period of time.

Seminar on How to Use Sensory Integration Devices - Basic Risk Management-

This is an online seminar that explains the basic use of sensory integration equipment and the features and cautions of the equipment when in use. (Certified instructors will be dispatched with the cooperation of the Japanese Academy for Sensory Integration.)

Program	A certified instructor from the Japanese Academy for Sensory Integration will explain safety and risk management considerations when using swings. Our representative will explain the basic handling of sensory integration equipment and the use of ropes and hardware. Basically, the session will be in a discussion format with repeated question-and-answer sessions.
Target	People who will be involved or interested in sensory integration (SI) and for beginners. Occupational therapists, childcare workers, teachers, day service workers, etc.
