The Role and Effective Utilization of Lower Limb Orthoses in Stroke Rehabilitation
- Effective Use of Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthoses (KAFO) in Rehabilitation Settings -
To enhance the effectiveness of gait training using Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthoses (KAFO) for individuals with stroke, a multifaceted approach is required—not only improving knowledge and technical skills, but also strengthening organizational structures, equipment availability, and educational systems within the rehabilitation team.
In this seminar, three distinguished speakers with extensive expertise in stroke rehabilitation will present from a variety of perspectives. Topics will range from the theoretical foundations of gait restoration, practical case examples of orthotic therapy, implementation and utilization of KAFO in rehabilitaiton settings, organizational management related to orthotic prescription, to the development of in-hospital educational systems.
Ample time will also be allocated for a Q&A session, providing participants with an opportunity to address challenges encountered in daily clinical practice. We warmly welcome the participation of all those striving to deliver better physical therapy for individuals with stroke.
This seminar will be held exclusively online via Zoom Webinar. A recorded archive will also be available for one month following the conclusion of the seminar.
